Prologue: Derrexi Tzelan arrives to Beldatz and gets into trouble right away.

Chapter 1 - Arrivals: Derrexi is formally welcomed to the city, while Xu're arrives at the same time. They start getting a taste of what the city holds for them.

 

Chapter 2 - True Dawn: Having accepted a challenge, Derrexi is all set up to show off her skills in the arena, but Diru Azpikeri and Xis'veki have special plans for her.

Chapter 3 - Demonspawn: Derrexi fights a demonspawn, a huge monster twisted by the essence of demonkind. She is joined by the rest of the heroes in a test of power that none of them expected.

 

Chapter 4 - The Hawk Maidens: The first girls join the Hawk Maidens as they reveal a bit of their ambitions, dreams and hopes.

Chapter 5 - Faculties: Derrexi has many things to worry about as she trains the Hawk Maidens, Niriko's secret being just one of them..

 

Chapter 6 - Small Lessons: Xu're tries to sneak inside the fort, only to be intercepted. Derrexi is not the only one to take an interesf, for something sleeps beneath the lighthouse, and it has now awakened.

Chapter 7 - Interludes: One day through the eyes of different characters. Larriki ponders about Beldats; Zintzi and Eruhien go shopping; Lord Matzidari holds court; Jakitza becomes a wizard's apprentice, and Eclipse reveals her true identity.

 

Chapter 8 - Blood of Two Rivers: The Summer Storm Festival is coming, and with it, the Maehvindra elves. Niriko will get a festival gift she never expected.

Chapter 9 - Voices from the Darkness: Behari is poisoned, and she will undertake a harrowing journey along everyone else, and many others through the darkness that surrounds Beldatz.

 

Chapter 10 - True Warriors Born:
The Hawk Maidens face their first test as a true fighting force as their legitimacy is challenged by a shady martial arts school. COMING JANUARY 2010.

  2. Xu're entered the Bay of Dawn in a Viryuni ship. go!
  3. Derrexi is released from prison and receives a message while relaxing in the palace's baths. go!
  4. Xu're arrives in Beldatz, hears about the Maze of Entry and the portmaster's policy on non-humans. go!
  5. Larriki relates the legend of Suze'en and the Maze of Entry. go!
  6. Niriko meets Xu're at port, Xu're enters a short trance when he utters part of the prophecy of the Time of Testing. go!
  7. Derrexi arrives at a party, meets Leial, confers with some of the city's movers and shakers and is insulted. Eclipse and Equinox manipulate events under orders of Lady Matzidari. go!
  8. A new day, Derrexi reflects on her mission and the history of the Hawk Maidens. go!
  9. Before Derrexi's demonstration duel, Xu're talks with his spirit guide, Yanti sneaks Niriko inside the arena and Diru plots with Xisve'ki. go!
  10. The duel begins, the mercenary turns into a demonspawn! go!
  11. Derrexi fights a demonspawn. go!
  12. Eclipse gets reprimanded. go!
  13. The new Hawk Maidens meet as they wait to be interviewed. go!
  14. Behari's old employer arrives to take her back, but encounters resistance. go!
  15. The Hawk Maiden interviews begin, and Derrexi remembers her own. go!
  16. The training of the Hawk Maidens begin with some sound advice and a revelation of Niriko's true nature. go!
  17. Derrexi finds teachers for the academy, and Niriko and Behari make up after a heavy argument. go!
  18. Xu're and Eclipse fight it out, and Eclipse recieves a very nasty surprise. go!
  19. Niriko and Behari talk about stuff; Derrexi inspects the walls and talks with Xu're after his own talk with Eclipse. go!
  20. Xolotzins have their own agenda. go!
  21. Larriki muses about Beldatz. go!
  22. Zintzi and Eruhien go shopping. go!
  23. Governor Matzidari is not a fool and rules the city from the shadows. go!
  24. Jakitza's first day as a wizard's apprentice. go!
  25. Eclipse reflects Xu're's words and her true identity is revealed!. go!
  26. The legend of the dragonfish and The Summer Storm Festival. go!
  27. Princess Tzie visits the Hawk Maidens to invite them to perform in the festival; Eclipse makes a visit of her own. go!
  28. Derrexi and Xu're go into town on an errand and see the Maehvindra elves arrive. go!
  29. Behari and Niriko discover how close Swift Sunrise style is to dancing, then hear some bad news. go!
  30. Niriko sneaks into town at night and drags Behari with her; Eclipse warns the adults as part of her plan and Derrexi gives chase. go!
  31. Niriko and Behari arrive at the Maehvindra compound, and are in for a surprise as time runs out for the would-be rescuers.go!
  32. Derrexi interrupts a probably fatal family reunion, and the chase is on as Yanti takes the girls while Xu're and Derrexi deal with the elves.go!
  33. An ambush separates the girls from Yanti, and Behari is wounded.go!
  34. Derrexi and Thunder share some words and uncomfortable insights.go!
  35. The girls can't outrun the pursuit, but the last adult to be "invited" makes his appearance.go!
  36. A bomb is dropped that will change Niriko's life forever. Derrexi arrives and is understandably angry. The fight is joined in earnest. go!
  37. Xu're and Derrexi try to heal Behari back in the fort, but something is definitely wrong.go!
  38. Behari's soul arrives in the Region of the Dead, tortured by images of her past, while Xu're and Derrexi try to figure this out.go!
  39. A strange woman takes Behari from the care of the Death Guide.go!
  40. Xu're, Derrexi and the rest of the Hawk Maidens start Behari's rescue; some will fetch the antidote for the poison, others go into the Region of the Dead to fetch her soul.go!
  41. Behari's mysterious rescuer shows her truths about the present and future, while Yanti and Eclipse find a truth that begets more questions.go!
  42. Thunder guides Derrexi through the Dreamlands and the Region of the Dead, but she will fall into a trap of her own making.go!
  43. The Hawk Maidens realize a couple of faults in their plan, just in time to try and do something about it, or just to realize Behari might not be the only one need rescuing.go!
  44. Derrexi faces a ghost from her own past, but succeeding at this trial could open the way to reach Behari's lost soul.go!
  45. All the paths converge and reach the end; Derrexi rushes to find Behari before it's too late, while the Hawk Maidens discover a thing or two about their own strengths.go!
